The Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):
As an HLTA, your key responsibilities will include:
• Delivering lessons and interventions across KS1 and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Supporting individual pupils and small groups to boost progress and confidence.
• Assisting teachers with planning, assessments, and resource preparation.
• Acting as a role model to pupils and supporting behaviour and engagement strategies.
• Playing an active part in the wider school community, including staff meetings and extracurricular initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
• Experience working across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude.
• A commitment to supporting children’s learning and development with creativity and empathy.
