Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real difference in a nurturing and forward-thinking primary school? We are currently seeking a confident and capable HLTA to join a welcoming and high-achieving school in the heart of Enfield on a part-time, permanent basis.

You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working alongside experienced teachers to raise attainment and ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering planned lessons and learning activities in the absence of the class teacher
• Supporting pupils in small group interventions and targeted catch-up sessions
• Contributing to lesson planning and curriculum enrichment activities
• Supporting children with a range of learning abilities, including those with SEN
• Maintaining a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will
• Hold HLTA status or an equivalent Level 4 qualification
• Have experience working across both Key Stage 1 and 2 in a UK primary setting
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Be confident in leading learning independently and adapting to classroom needs
• Have a proactive, flexible approach and a strong sense of teamwork
