Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Retford
£21,000 - £25,000 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Teaching Assistant to provide cover supervision for PPA and management time alongside absent teaching staff in a safe and secure learning environment. Alongside this, you will be required to undertake other non-teaching duties such as directed during non-cover lessons.
Your duties and responsibilities are:
Responsible to the Class Teacher and Senior Leadership Team for providing support to pupils, the Class Teacher, the curriculum and school.
Supervising children on work left in accordance with the school policy.
Managing student behaviour to ensure a constructive working environment.
Responding to students about the work that has been set.
Reporting back as appropriate using the schools’ agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class and any other issue arising.
The school is a vibrant and diverse primary school located in Retfordproviding education for children aged 3 to 11 years. Most children at this school speak English as an additional language. The school is proud of their multi-cultural community.
Requirements
The desired Higher-Level Teaching Assistant will have;
