Key Responsibilities:
Conducting site visits to measure and survey highway conditions
Identifying and diagnosing defects in carriageways and determining their causes
Providing practical solutions for maintaining and repairing highway assets
Collaborating with local authorities to prioritise maintenance activities
Engaging in walk, talk, build tasks to facilitate effective communication and project planning
Implementing surfacing solutions, serving as a foreman type individual to guide and direct work on-site
Advising and guiding less experienced team members to ensure quality outcomes
Job Requirements:
Experience in highway maintenance and surfacing
Understanding of local authority processes and priorities
Proficient in conducting surveys and site measurements
Ability to diagnose and address carriageway defects
Good communication skills for effective walk, talk, build work
Proven track record in managing highway maintenance projects
Ability to work efficiently on-site with minimal office-based tasks
