Job Description
A History/Humanities Teacher is required for a secondary school in the South Shields area which we are working with as a company. You will deliver History/Humanities to Key Stages 3 and 4. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers. This full time role is to start as soon as possible until May half term 2025.
The ideal History/Humanities candidate would:
* Have good classroom management skills
* Have a passion for teaching History/Humanities
* Have excellent subject knowledge
* Be able to organise themselves
* Be able to plan effective, engaging lessons.
We are keen to hear from both experienced History/Humanities teachers or ECTs.
To apply for a History/Humanities teaching position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
