A knowledgeable and engaging History Teacher is required to join the dedicated Humanities department of an Outstanding girls' school in Enfield. This permanent full-time position, commencing in September, offers an exceptional opportunity to ignite a lifelong interest in history and develop critical thinking skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver captivating History lessons that bring the past to life, fostering curiosity and a deep understanding of historical events and their significance.
* The role involves expertly guiding students through diverse historical periods and interpretations, following a well-structured and enriching curriculum.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History is essential.

* A deep and current understanding of British and world history, coupled with the ability to make the subject relevant and engaging for girls, is expected.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to foster a positive learning culture, are vital.
