Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Horizontal Boring Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating horizontal boring mills to machine components to precise specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of technical drawings, tools, and measurement instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate horizontal boring machines (manual or CNC-controlled).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Align and secure workpieces using jigs, fixtures, or clamps.
• Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Record production and operational data in logs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a horizontal boring machine operator or similar machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of machining safety protocols.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
• Experience with CNC boring machines is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming basics.
• Forklift certification.
• Familiarity with different metals and materials used in machining
