We are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor from a manufacturing background where you will play a pivotal role in embedding a safety-first culture throughout the business. Working closely with production teams, stakeholders, and the HQSE Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and enforcement of high HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular audits and inspections across all operational sites.
* Develop and implement HSE policies and safe systems of work.
* Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support on HSE practices.
* Investigate incidents, compile detailed reports, and recommend actions.
* Lead risk assessments and develop control measures.
* Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across all levels.
* Develop a risk assessment and safe working procedure program.
* Deliver effective Toolbox Talks and inductions.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years’ experience within manufacturing, industrial, or Rail HSE role.
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in PUWER assessments, legal registers, and permit-to-work systems desirable.
* Auditing, IOSH, or IEMA qualifications beneficial.
* Confident in developing and implementing 5x5 risk assessment methodologies.
* Passionate about driving safety culture and continuous improvement.
* Able to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
