Job Description
Westlakes MENA are currently recruiting for a HVAC Specialist with a background in Nuclear and other highly regulated sectors to be engaged in KSA.
The HVAC Specialist will support the customer in vendors' offer evaluation process by reviewing the offers part dedicated to HVAC.
The HVAC Specialist will review the vendors' offers, ensure that the Owner's specifications and the international and local regulations have been taken into account with regard to the proposed HVAC system, and ensure consistency and comprehensiveness of the proposal in collaboration with other technical areas.
The HVAC Specialist will be part of the customer offer review Task Force and will work according to the Customer Bid Review procedure; they will be involved in initial bid review and clarification exchanges between customers and vendors.
Role Responsibilities:
Issue review reports on Vendors' offer part related to HVAC,
Issue clarification questions to vendors related to HVAC,
Support technical discussions and clarification with vendors in this area,
Support closing of technical open points with the selected vendor and its suppliers to finalize technical aspects around HVAC system prior contract finalization,
Perform reporting to the bid review team management for their scope of work
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 9 to 15 years experience in ventilation and cooling system preferably in nuclear industry (minimum 5 years in nuclear) in System engineering specialty, or thermal calculation specialty.
