ICT Trainer (housing experience a must) Gillingham £38,950 Code Red are currently working with a public sector client of ours who are currently looking to appoint a ICT Trainer to their team. About the role: You’ll deliver organisation-wide IT training projects, supporting the implementation of new technologies and new ways of working, as well as provide applications training on core systems. You’re here to work in partnership with business teams and our IT providers, to produce and deliver integrated high quality training solutionsResponsibilities: Support the implementation of new IT solutions and ways of working, covering systems, processes, people and behaviours, soft skill education and knowledge transfer. Develop a basic understanding of key business processes and knowledge of our policies and procedures relating to core business systems. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with all business area and relevant teams to ensure high uptake and engagement with training delivery. Design and delivery of 1-1 and group training to all areas of the business for core systems and Microsoft applications and solutions including the Power Platform. Deliver training using a blended approach of learning tools and delivery methods: in person, virtual, video e-learning and remote learning solutions. Create and maintain training materials to reflect system upgrades and changes. Provide support in the use of Microsoft office products, offering workshop sessions where specific needs have been identified. Assist in user acceptance testing to help identify bugs, defects and workarounds. Support the Applications Analysts in the review of software upgrades and service packs prior to installation, identifying and advising on training requirements. Ensure all IT knowledge and training material is up to date, relevant and accessible to the whole business on the intranet. Experienced in learning and development, through all stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE). Experience in delivering training to different audiences, using different learning methods and techniques, with the ability to understand emerging and bespoke solutions Experience in delivering training on complex end user systems to large groups and individuals. Experience of project systems implementation, e.g., rollout of new or upgraded software solutions. Intermediate / advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel) to deliver a high standard of work Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills Approaches activities with high levels of engagement and resilience, customer focus, and with colleague adoption levels in mind. You’ll be passionate about continuous improvement A desire to further progress your knowledge / skills, and to keep these up-to-date Understand adult learning methodologies.Desirable: Experience in using the Microsoft Power Platform Experience in the housing sectorQualifications: Learning & Development / Training qualifications or equivalent experience.
