Industrial Sawyer
Location: Cradley Heath area
Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour
Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 45-minute lunch break
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sawyer to join our team in the Cradley Heath area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sawmill operations and a keen eye for detail. As an Industrial Sawyer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sawmill equipment to cut and process timber according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sawmill machinery to cut logs into lumber and other wood products.
Ensure precise cutting and processing of timber to meet quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sawmill equipment.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.Requirements:
Proven experience working in a sawmill or similar industrial environment.
Strong understanding of sawmill machinery and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
