Job Description
This role requires a meticulous and highly responsible Sourcing Manager to oversee the procurement and supply chain department within the Public Sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring cost-effective sourcing, maintaining supplier relations, and driving procurement strategies.

Description
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
Identify and research potential new suppliers
Manage procurement activities related to cost reduction initiatives
Prepare and execute proposals, requests for proposals, and other documentation related to the procurement of goods and services
Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities
Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice, prices and quantity discrepancies
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the organisation's policies and guidelinesProfile
A successful Sourcing Manager should have:
An educational background in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Prior experience in a similar role within the Public Sector
Strong negotiating and strategic thinking skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Proficient knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles
