Temporary Installation Technician – £15.00/hour (4-Week Contract)
Location: Herefordshire (with travel across the UK and potentially Europe)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 4 weeks
GMP Recruitment are delighted to offer a 4-week temporary opportunity with a respected ventilation specialist based in Herefordshire. We are recruiting for a Temporary Installation Technician to support a busy installation period.
This short-term role is ideal for a mechanically minded individual with site experience who is available immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the installation of ventilation systems at agricultural and industrial sites.
* Follow instructions on-site and ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
* Support more senior staff and work independently where needed.
* Help maintain equipment and company vehicles during the contract period.
* Complete basic site documentation including timesheets and daily logs.
* Comply with all health and safety standards.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous mechanical assembly or installation experience is essential.
* Comfortable working at height using access equipment (IPAF, PASMA, CSCS cards desirable but not essential – training may be provided).
* Willing to travel for work, possibly including overnight stays.
* A Full UK Driving Licence is required.
* A valid passport is desirable due to potential overseas work.
Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour
Contract Duration: 4 weeks (with potential for extension)
