Immediate start for an experienced Interim Accountant to support the team through a period of transition and recruitment.
The role will based in Lowestoft with a Hybrid option and be for anything between 4 and 6 months.
Responsibilities will be varied but may include:
Management of 3 within a busy accounting function, including setting objectives for the team.
Responsible for the integrity of the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet, as well as timely reporting of the monthly financial position with commentary.
Prepare annual budgets and periodic budget reforecasts.
Analyse and understand financial performance to assist with influencing business focuses.
Support effective working capital management, including liquidity monitoring and cash flow reporting.
Responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls in related finance processes.
Coordinate the year end close and audit process, including preparation of statutory accounts.
