KS1 Primary Teacher - Bitterne
Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and committed KS1 Primary Teacher to join our client ofsted rated 'Good' infant school based in Bitterne. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school community and inspire young learners to reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and active participation.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
Use a variety of resources and techniques to cater to different learning styles.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of attendance, progress, and other essential documentation.
Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to promote the success of all students.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Organise and oversee school trips, extracurricular activities, and special events.

Location: Bitterne
Start Date: September 2025
Position: KS1 Primary Teacher
Contract Type: Ongoing
Hours: Full-time (8:30 am - 4:00 pm, including parent evenings)
Pay Rate: Minimum £150 per day
Candidate Requirements:
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Two recent professional references in child-related roles.
