Key Stage 2 Teacher - Sheffield - Immediate Start - £150 to £180 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher ready to inspire and engage young minds? We are recruiting for a small independent school in Sheffield with a merged class of Year 5 and 6 pupils, offering a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
This role is to start immediately, with the opportunity to continue into the new academic year in September. With a small class of around 18 pupils, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on each child's learning journey.

Daily Rate: £150 - £180 (based on experience and qualifications)Your Role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across the Year 5 and 6 curriculum
Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential
Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
Take part in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodsWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in mixed-age or small class settings
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a focused learning environment
A passion for education and training, supporting pupil development and academic progress
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
