Job Description

Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Creating a classroom where children feel safe, supported, and inspired
Planning and adapting learning to meet the needs of all pupils
Tracking and assessing progress to ensure strong outcomes
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school team
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A sound understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics (e.g. Little Wandle, Read Write Inc., etc.)
A nurturing, patient and reflective approach
Passion for child-centred, active learning
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a KS1 Teacher.
A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
