Job Description
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and nurturing KS1 Teacher to join a dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to pupils in Year 1 or Year 2, supporting them in their academic, social, and emotional development during this vital stage of their education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities
Promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning development
High expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and outcomes
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a KS1 Teacher.
A caring, creative, and reflective approach to teaching
Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to whole-school improvement
