Phase Leader - Key Stage 2 (KS2) - Permanent Position (Full-Time) Location: Ealing, London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR (Dependent on experience) We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Phase Leader to join our school in Ealing, starting in September 2025. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for an experienced teacher looking to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the development of our KS2 curriculum and the success of our students. About the Role: As a Phase Leader for KS2, you will lead and inspire a team of dedicated teachers and support staff, ensuring the successful delivery of the KS2 curriculum across Years 3, 4, 5, and 6. You will be responsible for shaping the direction of teaching and learning in KS2, driving high standards, and fostering a collaborative and supportive approach across the phase. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine teaching with leadership, helping to build a positive learning environment and raise standards across the phase. Key Responsibilities: * Lead, support, and mentor KS2 teachers, providing guidance to ensure high-quality teaching and learning. * Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of the KS2 curriculum to ensure consistency and high standards across the phase. * Develop and implement strategies to raise standards of achievement and foster a love of learning. * Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school development, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching and learning. * Provide support for colleagues, ensuring continuous professional development and sharing best practices. * Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting high expectations for all students and staff. * Manage phase-specific resources and budgets in an efficient and effective way. * Monitor student progress and attainment across KS2, providing interventions and support where necessary. * Lead phase meetings, ensuring that all staff are aligned and motivated towards the school’s vision and objectives. The Ideal Candidate: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum. * Proven experience in a leadership or management role, with a passion for supporting and developing staff. * A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for students. * Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. * A creative, positive approach to teaching and learning. * Strong knowledge of assessment and monitoring strategies to support student progress.
