Are you a passionate and inspiring KS2 Teacher ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Blackburn, starting this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a highly motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to thrive in a supportive environment, shaping the academic and personal growth journeys of our Key Stage 2 pupils.
The Role:
As our new KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking in our pupils.
Creating a dynamic and stimulating classroom environment that promotes collaboration, independence, and a positive attitude towards education.
Assessing pupil progress effectively, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including preparing pupils for statutory assessments.
Implementing strong classroom and behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive and harmonious learning space.
Collaborating effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support the holistic development of every child.
Contributing to the overall positive ethos and values of our school.
About You:
You hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
You have recent experience teaching in a UK primary setting, with a specific focus on Key Stage 2 (KS2).
You possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
You are passionate about KS2 education and dedicated to supporting the academic and personal growth of older primary learners.
You are adaptable, professional, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive comprehensive support.
