Laboratory Technician
Location: Chepstow
Salary: £27,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Days
Haystack Selection is proud to be working in partnership with this innovative company based near the Chepstow area. This is a hands on, technical role supporting quality control, testing and development activities in a clean and safety driven environment
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the continuous improvement of test methods and procedures.
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in all lab areas.
* Collect and process samples for approval, concessions, and COA generation.
* Calibrate lab equipment (e.g. scales, spectrophotometer) as required.
* Manage lab consumables and assist with raw material stock control.
* Support technical documentation creation (TDS, PDS, MSDS).
* Collaborate with internal departments to support customer samples and resolve non-conformances.
* Participate in risk assessments and maintain H&S compliance.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous lab experience, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical setting.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test procedures and reporting.
* Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
* Strong commitment to health & safety and lab cleanliness.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
