Job Description
We are looking for a landscaping operative based in Nottingham to work for a prestigious organisation on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role will be a 3-month temporary role, and then you will have the option to go permanent.
This role requires a UK driving licence
The duties are as follows:
*
Clear sites of debris, weeds, and old vegetation
*
Prepare soil by digging, rotavating, and levelling
*
Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and hedges
*
Lay turf and sow grass seed
*
Install patios, paths, fences, and decking
*
Mix and lay concrete or paving slabs
*
Build raised beds and garden edging
*
Mow lawns and trim hedges
*
Prune trees and shrubs
*
Control weeds manually or with chemicals
*
Water and feed plants and lawns
*
Operate tools and machinery such as mowers and strimmers
*
Maintain and clean equipment
*
Follow health and safety procedures
*
Wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
*
Remove and dispose of green waste
*
Communicate with clients and supervisors
*
Carry out seasonal tasks like gritting or planting
