Landscaping Operative, Commercial Projects
Salary £30,000 to £32,000
Plymouth
Permanent, Full Time
These are Full Time, Permanent, Employed positions. That means that you are paid for ALL annual working days and include Holiday Pay and Sick Pay.
You will be working for a successful Landscape company and, together with your team you will be working on large scale, commercial landscaping projects. These will include new build hotels, schools, large commercial and retail developments and green infrastructure projects.
The Job:
You will work with your supervisor in a team that will include skilled labour and employed staff.
* Using Plans and Planting Diagrams to accurately create large scale planting schemes
* Soil preparation, importing topsoil, grading and levelling
* Seeding and turfing
* Fencing
* Building hoggin paths
* Barking / Mulching
* Planting shrubs, tree whips and mature trees
* Communicating any issues or problems with your Line Manager
* Making sure you have the correct uniform and PPE
* Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate
* Making sure that all tools and equipment are well maintained, clean and serviceable
The Person:
You will have about 2 years’ experience in constructing landscaping projects. You should have current CSCS Card and a driving licence and Excavator and Dumper tickets would be very useful. You will have good interpersonal and communication skillsBefore You Apply
