Job Description
My client, a growing house builder, are currently seeking a Layout Designer.
Duties include:
* Working towards an urban design masterplan project
* Research into relevant technical urban design and planning issues
* Using InDesign and Illustrator to produce brochures and documents
* Creating portfolios of design work
* Preparing testing layouts, plans and drawings, together with design documents
* Supporting regional offices and developing stakeholder relationships
The ideal candidate will have:
* Degree in Architecture, Urban Design or equivalent
* Proven experience using InDesign, Illustrator, AutoCAD, Sketchup or similar design software
* Excellent design skills with an ability to resolve diverse technical requirements
* Superb presentation skills across a range of audiences
* Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasksBefore You Apply
