Lead Business Analyst – Specialty Insurance
Bishopsgate, London | £90,000–£100,000 + Bonus + Generous Pension
5 days a week in the office
Are you an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in the insurance industry? Ready to take the lead in shaping impactful change within a fast-growing, highly respected specialty lines insurer?
We’re working with a pioneering insurance company based in Bishopsgate that’s doing some genuinely exciting things in the London Market. With a strong reputation and ambitious growth plans, they’re looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join their expanding team.
The Opportunity:
You’ll start by leading smaller, high-impact change projects—before progressing onto larger transformation initiatives that are central to the company’s roadmap. This is a newly created role with a clear trajectory into leading and developing other analysts as the team grows.
This position offers a rare chance to operate close to the business, shape change at pace, and have real influence across both IT and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and drive business analysis activities across change projects
* Act as the bridge between business and technology, translating complex requirements into clear deliverables
* Engage with senior stakeholders across the business, challenging and influencing where needed
* Support the development of best practices within the BA function
* Mentor and lead other analysts as the team expands
About You:
* Extensive insurance experience is essential – this is non-negotiable
* London Market experience is a big plus; insurtech or broader commercial insurance backgrounds also welcome
* You’re a confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
* Experience working in fast-paced, regulated environments
* You take ownership, are proactive, and can work independently
