Lead Chiller Engineer - Midlands (Mobile Role) Up to £50,000 + Paid Travel Time + Overtime + Standby Allowance Company Vehicle | 33 Days Holiday | Bonus Scheme | Excellent Progression We're recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading providers of temporary HVAC hire solutions, supporting mission-critical environments across data centres, healthcare, events, manufacturing, and facilities management. Known for their rapid deployment, expert engineering support, and a diverse hire fleet, they're now looking for a Lead Chiller Engineer to cover the Midlands region. The Role As the Lead Chiller Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering and overseeing the installation, service, and maintenance of a wide range of temporary cooling systems - from compact portable AC units to large-scale industrial chillers up to 1MW+. Your responsibilities will include: Installation, servicing, fault-finding and breakdown repair of a variety of temporary HVAC systems Leading site operations, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high standards of safety and service Working closely with operations to ensure rapid response and minimal downtime for clients Acting as a technical point of contact on-site for complex chiller installations and call-outs This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a lead position within a highly respected, fast-growing specialist. What We're Looking For F-Gas Certification (essential) Strong technical background across a wide range of HVAC systems, including portable AC, split units, VRV/VRF, and large industrial chillers Experience working with temporary or mobile cooling plant is advantageous Confident leading on-site work and supporting junior colleagues Full UK Driving Licence (essential - mobile role) What's on Offer Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 Travel Time: Paid door to door Call Out: 1 in 6 rota (£20/day standby + 1.5x pay if called out) Overtime: Paid at 1.5x - plenty available Hours: 40 per week Company Van: With fuel card and option for private use Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays Benefits: Bonus scheme and incentive programs About the Client This is a standout opportunity to join a business with a nationwide reputation for excellence in temporary HVAC hire, offering innovative cooling, heating, and ventilation solutions to industries that can't afford downtime.
