Job Description
We are currently working with a leader in Pressure Systems within the defence industry who are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join them due to a mix of increase in projects and future development of the business.
This role is a technically focused position within a dynamic engineering department, delivering design, development, and project management functions. The successful candidate will ensure engineering activities align with ISO standards and client expectations. A focus on innovation, system optimisation, and continuous improvement underpins this varied and rewarding engineering opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems and components, including valves and flow equipment.
Lead or support prototype development, testing, and validation processes.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure delivery of technical solutions.
Conduct research and implement improvements in manufacturability, performance, and standardisation.
Provide technical support to customers, addressing enquiries and delivering effective solutions.
