Profile – Lead SAP Architect
Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century.
Job Role – Lead SAP Architect
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead SAP Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of SAP solutions across the enterprise.
Duties – Lead SAP Architect
• Design and maintain the overall SAP architecture roadmap in alignment with business and IT strategy.
• Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of large-scale SAP implementations and upgrades.
• Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert across SAP modules including MM, SD, PP, WM, FI/CO, and QM with a focus on food manufacturing requirements.
• Partner with key stakeholders across production, supply chain, finance, and compliance to capture and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Oversee integration of SAP with MES systems, IoT devices on the production floor, and third-party applications.
• Lead and mentor SAP analysts, developers, and external partners to maintain architectural integrity and project quality.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Experience/Qualifications – Lead SAP Architect
• Proven experience in SAP architecture, ideally within food, beverage or FMCG environment.
• Technical background in SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4 HANNA).
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end SAP implementation, migrations and integrations.
Candidates who are currently a SAP Solutions Architect, Senior SAP Architect, SAP Technical Architect, SAP Business Architect, SAP Transformation Lead, Head of SAP Architect, SAP Technical Lead, Global SAP Architect and SAP Solution Design Lead could be suitable for this position.
