Job Description
BDS are currently recruiting for a Leasehold Officer to work with a Local Authority in Crawley to work on a hybrid basis.
The main focus of the role will be to work as part of a team to provide information and advice on the management of buildings, leases and paying of service charges and to facilitate the Right to Buy of properties.
The main focus of the role is;
* Identify and account for all service charges
* Respond to customer queries relating to service charges and amend accounts where appropriate
* Recovery of service charges including signposting in relation to hardship
* Processing of Section 20s and consultation
* Processing of Right to Buy applications
The ideal candidate will;
* Have an understanding of legislation relating to Leasehold and Right To Buy to enable correct decision making
* Experience in processing Section 20’s
* Strong IT skills and Knowledge of Microsoft Office
This is a full time role- Monday Friday 9am- 5pm
2 days a week in the Crawley office- the rest working from home
Pay rate- £17.50ph PAYE- £22.65ph UMB
This is a temp ongoing contract to start ASAP
