Job Description
A well-established and respected law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join its busy accounts department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to take the next step in their legal accounts career, with the chance to gain exposure across all areas of a thriving legal finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Processing outgoing payments including BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, and cheques
*
Preparing and authorising electronic bank transfers across multiple offices
*
Ensuring full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
*
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*
Managing shared finance inboxes and responding to internal queries
*
Assisting with monthly financial reporting and reconciliation tasks
Candidate Requirements:
*
Prior experience in a Legal Cashier or similar legal finance role
*
Strong understanding of SAR and AML regulatory requirements
*
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
*
Confident working independently and as part of a team
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
