Location: Tamworth - up to 3 days working from home
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

The Role:
As a Legal Director, you will lead a team of conveyancers and property lawyers while shaping the strategic direction of the firm. This is a senior management role where you will be responsible for overseeing legal operations, developing and mentoring your team, and ensuring the firm’s conveyancing services are delivered with the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency. You will have the opportunity to influence the growth and future of the business, helping to build a strong and sustainable legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of senior conveyancers and property lawyers.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm’s conveyancing department.
* Take a hands-on approach in managing high-level and complex conveyancing matters.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, client satisfaction, and overall business growth.
* Play a key role in driving the firm’s expansion and market presence.
* Manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing any escalated matters.
* Contribute to the development of business plans, policies, and new services.
* Work closely with senior management to align legal operations with the firm’s long-term goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Extensive experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing, with a solid track record in managing complex cases.
* Previous experience in a senior leadership or management role, ideally as a Senior Conveyancer, Property Lawyer, or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of conveyancing law, the property market, and industry best practices.
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive change.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with clients, senior management, and external stakeholders.
