Description
Manage and organize case files, legal documents, and client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures.
File legal documents with courts and government agencies, both electronically and physically.
Answer phones, route calls, and handle client inquiries in a professional manner.
Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
Perform time entry and billing tasks, including tracking billable hours and generating invoices.
Conduct basic legal research under attorney supervision.
Assist with trial preparation and logistics.
Maintain office supplies and handle administrative duties as needed.
Profile
2+ years of experience as a legal secretary or in a legal administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther, or similar).
Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
