We are recruiting for a nationwide provider of Legionella / Water Hygiene compliance services. They are seeking a hardworking and dynamic Legionella Plumber to cover client contracts in the South East of England and along the M3 & M4 corridor. Duties will include: smaller installations and replacements, so candidates must have existing experience with this. The company is a well-known outfit with busy client contracts and an excellent training support, attractive salaries and packages.
You will be required to cover client sites based around: Bracknell, Crowthorne, Woking, Guildford, Farnham, Aldershot, Fleet, Frimley, Reading, Basingstoke, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Staines-upon-Thames, Southall, Hounslow, Twickenham, Mitcham, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, High Wycombe, Amersham, Watford, Harrow, Borehamwood, Wembley, Potters Bar, St Albans, Croydon, Redhill, Caterham.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience working as a Legionella Plumber within a well-established outfit
- It is essential to hold plumbing qualifications, such as: NVQ levels (1, 2, 3), City & Guilds and / or G3 Vented & Unvented ticket
- Robust technical knowledge, including the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Flexible and able to attend reactive works as well as PPM appointments
- Hardworking ethic
The Role:
- Working across client sites to undertake PPM and reactive works to make improvements or repairs
- Installations and replacements of: RPZ valves, cold water storage tanks, pipework and TMVs
- Identifying faults on site and making recommendations where necessary
- Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Removing deadlegs
- Pipework adjustments
- Writing detailed service reports
- Supporting new members of the team and training
