Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Dartford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £40k + Training & Benefits
Our client is recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor to work across client sites within the South East and M25 locality. They are a well-established and independent Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit who have a hardworking ttask forceand growing client base. Candidates would benefit from good access to the M25 for easier travel. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong hands-on and technical experience. Salaries and benefits are attractive and include: overtime opportunities and the use of company vehicle.
You will be covering sites across: Dartford, Gravesend, Erith, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Caterham, Redhill, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Hounslow, Woking, Reading, Slough, Southall, Hayes, Wembley, Harrow, Borehamwood, Watford, Enfield, Chigwell, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Dagenham, Rainham.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Good hands-on experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Conversant in ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- Strong written and IT literacy skills
- Good client-facing skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Travelling to client sites to undertake Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Producing bespoke reports to indicate any compliance / safety risks and recommended actions to remedy
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Providing a consultancy service to clients to answer queries and make technical recommendations
- Supporting the training of new members of staff
- Travelling to client sites, making sure to arrive on time and to conduct work in a professional manner
