Our client is seeking a multi-skilled Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer, who can provide a robust service to their clients in the South East and South Central regions. The role will vary daily depending on client requirements, so this would be a great role for someone with a diverse skillset who would like to undertake a range of compliance tasks. The company is a privately-owned outfit who can offer great further development to successful candidates, as well as competitive salaries and benefits.
You will be covering sites across: Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Fleet, Bracknell, Slough, Reading, Windsor, Epsom, Twickenham, Croydon, Sutton, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Crawley, Windsor, Maidenhead, Southall, Bromley, Horley, East Grinstead, Croydon, Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Sevenoaks, Erith, Dartford, Aldershot, High Wycombe.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have hands-on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and Water Hygiene Engineer
- Qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to hold plumbing experience / qualifications
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using company software
- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
- Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Writing detailed reports to highlight safety risks and make recommendations
- Showerhead descales
- TMV inspections and servicing
- CWST cleans & disinfections
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Basic outlet flushes
- Maintaining and building strong working relationships with clients
