About the Role: We are working with an established and expanding air quality and ventilation solutions provider who are looking to grow their technical team with the addition of an experienced LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable business at an exciting time of growth. This role is best suited to someone who is confident working independently, has a strong technical background in LEV testing and assessments, and is keen to progress into a Lead Engineer or even Department Manager position in the near future. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough examination and testing of LEV systems to ensure compliance with COSHH Regulations and HSG258. * Provide clients with detailed technical reports, including assessments of system performance and recommendations for improvements or repairs. * Carry out on-site risk assessments and ensure all work is completed in line with the latest safety standards and procedures. * Advise and liaise with clients on findings, ensuring a high standard of customer service and professionalism. * Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all jobs. * Support junior engineers and assist in developing best practices across the department. * Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s services. Requirements – What We’re Looking For: Essential: * P601 certification – Thorough Examination & Testing of LEV systems (BOHS-recognised). * Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in LEV testing, servicing, or similar HVAC/air quality work. * Strong understanding of LEV systems, ventilation control measures, and relevant health & safety legislation. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Full UK Driving Licence – this is a mobile role with travel to client sites. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team. Desirable (but not essential): * IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) and/or PASMA (Mobile Access Towers) certified. * Additional P-Certifications (e.g., P602, P603) or relevant qualifications in ventilation/HVAC engineering. * Experience mentoring or training junior engineers.
