Job Title: Light Commercial Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership
Location: Ipswich
Salary:
Light Commercial Vehicle Technicians: £30,000 per year (starting), rising to £33,000
Master/Senior Light Commercial Vehicle Technicians: Salary to be discussedJob Type: Full-time
Working Hours:
42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
1 in 4 Saturdays: 07:45 - 16:45 (with a day off during the week)Benefits:
22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Manufacturer accredited training programme
MOT Tester (preferred but not essential)
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) required

As a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing light commercial vehicles. You will work as part of a dedicated team, using state-of-the-art equipment and technology to keep vehicles running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities of the Light Commercial Vehicle Technician:
Diagnose, repair, and service light commercial vehicles
Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with other Light Commercial Vehicle Technicians to meet customer needs
Stay up-to-date with new technology and best practices for light commercial vehicles
Perform maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring maximum vehicle reliability
Provide expert advice and technical support to colleagues and customersWhat We’re Looking For in a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance or Repair
Full, clean driving license
MOT Tester qualification (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician (preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
