Job Description
Responsible for machine set up / line running and change over adjustments to achieve pre-determined line speeds. Where opportunities are identified to improve machinery, throughput communicate and engage with production team in delivering the improvement, increase overall machine efficiency whilst maintaining quality of both product & packaging to customer specification
* Complete pre start check / sign backs into operation and any other documentation required to be completed in the MM role.
* Ensure all daily machine safety checks are completed in line with the trained SOP’s.
* Ensure product changeovers are performed with minimal downtime in a safe and compliant manner.
* Communicate with Line Leaders in a clear and appropriate manner.
* Ensure that machines are set up in time for job runs ensuring prompt changeovers whilst keeping downtime to a minimum.
