Hours: 4 on 4 off / 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00 (Rotating Days & Nights)
Pay: From £14.69 - £22.74 per hour
Contract: Temporary Ongoing (Permanent Opportunity Available)
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster. This role has the opportunity for a Permanent contract at the end of a successful trial period. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required. Candidates must have their own transport due to location of this role.
The Duties of a Machine Operator:
Set up and operate production machinery according to specifications
Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Record production data and report issues or inconsistencies
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
The Requirements of a Machine Operator:
Previous experience operating machinery
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to follow safety procedures and technical instructions
Ability to stand, lift, and move materials during shifts
Occasional weekend work required due to shift pattern
Must drive and have own transport
