Machinist
Location: Gloucester
Hours: Day shift – Full-time
Pay: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension contributions
We are working with a specialist welding and fabrication company based in Gloucester who are looking to appoint an experienced machinist to join their small, close-knit team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities of a Machinist:
* Machining fabricated components to customer and engineering specifications
* Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
* Operating conventional lathes, milling machines, and a horizontal borer (SJ-100)
* Using own initiative and supporting other team members where required
Key Skills of a Machinist:
* Strong understanding of machining practices
* Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Prior experience with horizontal borers desirable – training will be provided if neededBefore You Apply
