Job Description
Maintenance Electrician – Facilities Management | Elgin
FM Search & Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management company, providing maintenance services across commercial buildings in and around the Moray area. This role is ideal for a skilled Electrician with expertise in electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis, and compliance testing.

£40,000 - £43,500

Company vehicle & fuel card
*
On-call allowance
*
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
*
25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Responsibilities:
*
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial properties.
*
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime.
*
Perform testing, inspections, and compliance checks, including emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
*
Assist with minor mechanical and fabric maintenance when required.
*
Work closely with other FM engineers to ensure smooth service delivery.
*
Maintain accurate records of work completed and liaise with clients as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
*
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
*
Experience in commercial maintenance or a similar role
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Full UK driving licence
