Job Description
Our client has a large manufacturing facility based in Rochdale and they are looking for hard working individuals to join their manufacturing team. They are a global company and work with clients who have their machines across the world, this role would be responsible for their machinery on site. The successful person must come from a CNC background and be confident in fault finding and servicing of a range of machinery.
Job Responsibilities
* Carrying out the servicing, maintenance and upgrades to the machinery.
* Reacting promptly to minimise the down time.
* Diagnosing the problem and resolving any issues as required.
* Ordering parts and components as required for the repairs.
* Providing support to the rest of the manufacturing team.
* Interpreting engineering / technical drawings.
* Liaising with the manufacturing teams to plan in maintenance and keeping a log of all works carried out.
* Following company protocol and adhering to all health and safety.
Job Requirements
* Must come from either a CNC milling or grinding background.
* Confident fault finding and problem solving.
* Experience with most Microsoft packages.
* Ideally would drive and have their own transport.
Hours:
They operate a 2 shift rotation which would rotate on a weekly basis.
Week 1: Monday – Thursday 5:45am – 2pm & Friday 5:45am – 11:45am
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 9:35am – 6pm & Friday 8am – 1:40pm
