Job Description

Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias Location: Flintshire Salary: £40k - £45k What you'll be doing - Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plastic injection moulding machines and extrusion lines plus auxiliary equipment - chillers, robots, granulators & air compressors etc) Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including PLCs, control systems Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns Implement upgrades or modifications to improve equipment performance Ensure compliance with safety standards for all electrical work Submit detailed daily activity reports Your skills and experiences - Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias Strong experience maintaining industrial equipment Strong expertise in electrical systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting Familiarity with mechanical systems is advantageous but not essential Digitally savvy - comfortable using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Desirable Proven experience in maintaining plastic injection moulding machinery or extrusion lines or similar industrial equipment All successful Maintenance Engineers will be contacted within 2 days of application
