Shift Pattern: Panama – 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights)
We’re supporting our client, a global, leading components manufacturer based in Blackburn, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have previous experience with automated systems, as well as PLC knowledge.
Responsibilities for Maintenance Engineer:
* Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment
* Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
* Fault finding on PLC’s
* Diagnosis and root cause analysis
* Maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics
* Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
* Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
About You:
* Ideally multi-skilled maintenance abilities
* PLC knowledge
* Experience with automated systems
* Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including low and high voltage equipment.
