Our prestigious client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With a commitment to operational excellence and producing high-quality products, they are looking for a professional who can ensure the optimal functioning of their manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions through preventative and corrective maintenance practices.
Work collaboratively with production and technical teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies.
Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and standards in all maintenance tasks.
Assist in training team members on proper operating procedures and equipment handling.
Support the procurement process for spare parts and maintenance materials.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Extensive experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and basic plumbing as applicable.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and repair is preferred.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and standards within an industrial setting.
Possession of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry or similar manufacturing environments is advantageous.Maintenance Engineer (534 / 26027)
