Maintenance Engineer
Refrigeration/ Chill Food Processing Equipment
(Occasional Stainless steel welding)
£35,000 - £45,000 + Premium Overtime + Progression + Van/ Fuel Card + Training + Potential for International travel
Location Wolvey - Commutable from Coventry, Leicester, Daventry
An excellent role is on offer for a service engineer looking to join a market-leading, rapidly growing company where you will receive extensive training and have the opportunity to work on technically exciting machinery.

This company of one of the UK's largest suppliers of Dairy Equipment and machinery services. Due to an increased workload, they are looking to add to their service team with the addition of two Field engineers to help them facilitate this growth.
Typically, the role is split between the Wolvey site and the customers' premises, with Regular travel within the UK is a common feature; on average, this will involve 2 x overnight stays per week. Overseas (worldwide) travel is also required for short periods; on average, this is estimated as 3 -4 times per year.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with experience in either mechanical or electrical maintains on FMCG, Manufacturing, Plant, ICE Cream, Dairy, or Chilled/ Frozen food manufacturing machinery, or similar. Experience with stainless steel welding is essential for this role.

Typical work activities include:
Responding to customer call-outs
Installation and commissioning of equipment
Repairing, testing, and maintaining equipment
Making recommendations to customers and their maintenance technicians
Carry out stainless steel weldingThe person
Experience with equipment maintenance.
Ability to weld stainless steel
Experience working with FMCG ICE Cream, Dairy, or Chilled/ Frozen food manufacturing or processing equipment.
Happy with occasional stayaways and travel.
