Maintenance Engineer – Night Shift
£21.87–£22.50 per hour (£17.50–£18.00 base + 25% shift allowance)
Full-Time | Permanent
Shift Pattern: Sunday–Wednesday (10pm–6am), Thursday (10pm–5am)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, long-term night shift role? Join our dedicated team in West Bromwich, where you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment and building systems to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and site infrastructure
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
Keep detailed maintenance records and logs
Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when needed
Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures
✅ About You
3+ years’ experience in a maintenance or engineering role
Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities
Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Comfortable reading technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
PLC/automation experience is highly desirable
Welding or fabrication skills would be an advantage
Strong problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude
