Burntwood

Our client are a market leading Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer, they are seeking a maintenance manager to join their team. The role will be responsible for the maintenance of site machinery as well as managing a team of maintenance engineers around their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Manager
Take direction from Site Services manager
Direct and develop maintenance technicians
Support other group leaders / department managers’ needs
Address concerns raised by work team members and provide feedback
Escalate serious concerns on machines and equipment immediately to operations manager
Respect company systems and procedures
Respect customer quality standards
TPM system defined and operating to include corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance
FMEA to identify all critical parts
Tool maintenance and improvement request system in place
Maintenance workshop and stores 5S system in place
Reporting format designed and data recording in place
Bi-annual PDR with team members
Safe systems of work defined
Report daily performance information into operations review meeting
Establish library of drawings and manuals for all machines and auxiliary equipment
PDCA action plans reviewed weekly
Qualifications & Experience – Maintenance Manager
Technical qualification – maintenance
Electrical and/or Mechanical experience
Knowledge of maintenance management systems
Team leadership experience
Strong organisational skills and a systems approach
Knowledge of injection and paint process
Experience of working with service suppliers.
