Repairs Supervisor
Location: Wembley and Southgate, London
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Hourly Rate: £35.17 per hour (UMBRELLA OR VIA CIS)A prominent housing association with operations in Wembley and Southgate is seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to assist with their disrepair workstreams. This is a critical role requiring a candidate with exceptional knowledge of housing repairs and disrepair. The position is a six-month contract with a competitive hourly rate, ideal for a dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact in a short period.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee and coordinate the repair workstreams, ensuring all activities comply with industry standards and organisational policies.
Supervise repair teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
Conduct site inspections to assess the quality of repairs and identify any instances of disrepair.
Liaise with contractors, tenants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication.
Manage and monitor repair schedules, ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to set budgets.
Provide technical expertise and advice on housing repairs and disrepair matters.
Prepare and present reports on the progress and outcomes of repair projects.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within the housing sector.
Excellent knowledge of housing repairs and disrepair processes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Proficient in planning, organising, and prioritising workloads.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
