Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the Site Leader, you will: Lead the Maintenance Team, ensuring full compliance with legal, health & safety, and environmental standards. Develop and manage preventative and reactive maintenance plans to meet operational, compliance, and output targets. Coordinate resources for maintenance activities, ensuring timely response to reduce production downtime. Monitor and assess maintenance KPIs, using trend data to drive a culture of data-led decision-making. Complete fault diagnosis and resolution to prevent reoccurrence. Plan and oversee shutdowns, ensuring all parts, labour, and safety protocols are in place. Manage the sites maintenance budget in collaboration with the Site Leader. Ensure all PPMs are completed and documented; analyse equipment failures to identify root causes. Maintain the site's inventory and spare parts system, contributing to the ongoing FMECA study. Oversee contractor activities, ensuring safety protocols and compliance are maintained. Support the implementation of company-wide safety initiatives and best practices. Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: A recognised engineering or technical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent). Proven experience in leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and safety standards. Experience managing budgets and maintenance planning tools (e.g., CMMS). Familiarity with Management of Change and continuous improvement processes. A confident leader and team player who can develop others and build positive working relationships. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
